FRISCO, Texas — It will be all the TV can do to keep their currently spiraling season from becoming worse when the Houston Texans visit in Week 11. There is no shortage of adversity, worsened by the loss of Dak Prescott for the remainder of the 2024 season, as they enter the contest with a 3-6 record and no wins at home in four tries.

CJ Stroud and Co. are themselves trying to right the ship after two losses in a row, the most recent being a second half collapse against the Detroit Lions, and they have plenty to play for this coming Monday, as they work to improve their 6-4 record.

It's the "Battle for Texas" a.k.a. "The Governor's Cup", and all eyes will be on it.

WHEN AND WHERE:

Date: Monday, Nov. 18
Time: 7:15 p.m. CT
Location: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX)

It's an in-state rivalry that has, in the past, created some of the more memorable moments in all of football, such as the Tony Romo blind spin against JJ Watt and Dez Bryant's improbable catch with that respective game on the line, and it's likely this will offer up more fireworks.

But will they be in the Cowboys' favor, or the Texans'?

We'll all find out soon enough, and in primetime.
