FRISCO, Texas — Things haven't gone as either of these teams intended in 2024, or even remotely close to their goals of making a playoff push. Both the Cincinnati Bengals and ÃÛÌÒTV have had their share of varying levels of adversity, and enter their matchup in Week 14, and enter with a sub-.500 record, but one is turning a corner.
For while the Bengals continued their tailspin in Week 12 and Week 13, the Cowboys halted theirs and rattled off a two-game win streak by downing two division rivals in a span of only four days.
WHEN AND WHERE:
Date: Monday, December, 9
Time: 7:15 p.m. CT
Location: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX)
It's not for lack of offense that the Bengals are struggling, however, considering Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and their compatriots are regularly torching the scoreboard. Their defensive struggles have proven too much to overcome, and that could play in the favor of Cooper Rush and an offense in Dallas that appears more settled in as of late.
And the last time Rush played the Bengals was in 2022, his second NFL start in the wake of an injury to Dak Prescott, throwing for a respectable 235 yards and a touchdown that led to a game-winning field goal for a 20-17 victory at AT&T Stadium.
Can the suddenly hot Cowboys' defense throw ice on Burrow? And can Rush go 2-0 against the Bengals??
Tune in and find out.
