The Pro Football Hall of Fame sent out a preliminary list of 183 players to be considered in the Seniors category for the 2025 Class.

Among those group, 14 players spent time with the Cowboys, including Ring of Honor members Lee Roy Jordan and Don Meredith, along with Pro Bowlers such as Nate Newton, Daryl Johnston and Harvey Martin.

The list will reduce to 50 players over the next few weeks. Then, a separate Seniors Blue-Ribbon Committee will reduce the list down and eventually select just three Seniors as finalists for possible election.

To be considered for the Seniors list, the players' last season had to be in 1999 or before.

Players such as Darren Woodson, who has been a finalist for the Hall of Fame each of the last two years, is expected to be among the finalists yet again.
