Top 10: Wildest Moments In Eagles Rivalry
Relive the Top 10 moments in the last 30 years of a wild Cowboys-Eagles rivalry: the good, the bad and the ugly.

Roy's TD (2005): The Cowboys won a Monday night nail-biter, 21-20, with Roy Williams' late interception for a touchdown. Williams picked off Donovan McNabb with 2:43 remaining and ran 46 yards untouched for the winning score.

44-6 (2008): The Eagles stayed alive in the playoff race thanks to a couple of other NFL games that finished right before kickoff. That made the Eagles-Cowboys game an elimination game in Week 17 and the Eagles took full advantage, dominating the Cowboys to a 44-6 win. The Cowboys finished the season 9-7 and out of the playoffs, despite a 3-0 start and the preseason favorites for the Super Bowl.

Pickle Juice Game (2000): The Dave Campo era got off to a terrible start as the Eagles recovered an onside kick to begin the 2000 season. From there, it went downhill as the Eagles, reportedly drank pickle juice on the sidelines to withstand the 109-degree heat at Texas Stadium. They beat the Cowboys 41-14 and to make matters worse, both Troy Aikman and Joey Galloway suffered injuries that day that would affect the entire season.

Punter Blunder (1997): With the Cowboys leading 21-20, Eagles holder/punter Tom Hutton dropped the potential game-winning field goal snap and got tackled by Deion Sanders. The Cowboys, who erased a 20-9 deficit earlier in the game, hung on for their second win of the season.

McNabb's Scramble (2004): Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb redefined "pocket presence" in a Monday night blowout win over Dallas. He eluded Cowboys defenders for a full 14 seconds before tossing a 60-yard touchdown completion to Freddie Mitchell that led to a Philly score.

10. Pearson's Draft Rant (2017): Top this, WWE. Tabbed as the guest announcer of the Cowboys' second-round pick at the NFL Draft in Philadelphia, Pearson went full heel mode. "I want to thank the Eagles fans for allowing me to have a career in the NFL!" the Cowboys legend shouted over heavy boos, reminding Eagles fans of Dallas' five all-time Super Bowl wins. (Of course, the Eagles would hoist the Lombardi Trophy a few months later.)

9. T.O. Returns To Philly (2006): Terrell Owens got no brotherly love from the Philly faithful six months after his ugly divorce from the Eagles and his public feud with quarterback Donovan McNabb. The Eagles held Owens to three catches for 45 yards and beat the Cowboys 38-24. Two weeks later, Bill Parcells benched quarterback Drew Bledsoe and the Tony Romo era began in Dallas.

8. Emmitt Goes For 237 (1993): In the middle of a constant rainstorm on Halloween, Emmitt Smith was the scariest thing the Eagles were dealing with. In fact, no team had been torched by Smith in this fashion as he ran for 237 yards, setting a Cowboys single-game record en route to the 23-10 win. Smith's record stood for 18 years until DeMarco Murray rushed for 251 against the Rams in 2011.

7. Dak-To-Witten In OT (2016): In his seventh career start for an injured Tony Romo, rookie Dak Prescott saved his best for last. Prescott and the Cowboys overcame a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to force overtime. In the extra frame, Prescott picked up a critical fourth-and-1, then delivered the winning touchdown to Witten five plays later, spinning back across his body to the left side of the field and buying an extra second for the veteran tight end to get open in the end zone. The win improved the Cowboys' early-season record to 6-1 on their way to a franchise-record tying 13 wins.

6. Romo's First Playoff Win (2009): Three years after a heartbreaking dropped field goal snap in Seattle, Tony Romo got a measure of redemption by beating Philadelphia in consecutive weeks – first to clinch the NFC East, then to move past the Eagles in the wild-card round six days later. Romo threw two touchdown passes in the first postseason win of his career – the first for the franchise since the 1995 season.

5. Load Left (1995): With the score tied and the Cowboys in field goal range in the final minute, Barry Switzer called two straight controversial – and unsuccessful – short-yardage plays. The Eagles read them the whole way. They stuffed Emmitt Smith on third-and-1 and fourth-and-1, took the ball in Cowboys territory and kicked the deciding field goal to win at the Vet, 20-17. The Cowboys didn't lose another game that year on their way to a third Super Bowl title in four years.

4. K-Mart's Big Return (1991): Just two years after the "Bounty Bowl" saga, the Cowboys finally got their revenge with a road win at Philly to clinch their first playoff berth in six years. The game-clinching play came from Kelvin Martin, who took a punt back 85 yards right up the middle to send the Cowboys past the Eagles and into the postseason.

3. Irvin's Last Game (1999): In one play, it seemed like an entire dynasty ended. Michael Irvin suffered a career-ending neck injury on the cold, rainy turf at Veterans Stadium in 1999. That play not only turned around the game, in which the Cowboys lost 13-10, but their season as well. A 3-0 started finished 8-8 and the Cowboys went 5-11 three straight years following Irvin's retirement.

2. "The Bounty Bowls" (1989): This one could be two different entries and maybe even three. The cutoff for this list was 1989 when Jerry Jones bought the team. But the "Bounty Bowl" events actually began in 1987 when Buddy Ryan was upset over the way Tom Landry used his players during the strike and then ran up the score later that season. In 1989, he took it another level and placed a 'bounty' on the Cowboys kicker Luis Zendejas and QB Troy Aikman. The feud continued later in 1989 when Jimmy Johnson and the Cowboys were pummeled by snowballs from the always-festive fans in Philly.

1. Witten's No-Helmet Catch (2007): A 20-foot mural of this play hangs above the entrance to Ford Center at The Star in Frisco. Clearly, it's an iconic moment that captures Witten's toughness and sets the standard for the franchise's "Fight" mantra. Witten gained 53 yards on the catch-and-run at Lincoln Financial Field and passed Tony Dorsett for 10th place on the club's all-time receiving yards list that night. The Cowboys won easily, 38-17.
