Top 10: Jones Picked as Top Performer in Seattle
Coming up with 10 individual standouts for the Cowboys was a little harder this week, but the staff of DallasCowboys.com still found two handfuls of players that should be recognized.

10. Brett Maher – Made his first 50-yard field goal of his career, and added another made attempt earlier in the game. His kickoffs could've been deeper but it didn't affect the field position too much.

9. DeMarcus Lawrence – Picked up a half-sack with Sean Lee, marking the third straight game this year with at least a partial sack. Still, the Cowboys needed more pressure.

8. Ezekiel Elliott – No one had better stats than Zeke, but he had some costly mistakes like a fumble and going out of bounds negating a TD that knocked him down the list.

7. Tavon Austin – Scored a touchdown for the second straight game but still wasn't a consistent factor in the offense. Had a big punt return called back in the second half.

6. Chris Jones – He continues to show why he's one of the NFL's best. He has plenty of distance but still can directional kick to prevent big returns.

5. Tyrone Crawford – Was active all through the line and got in Russell Wilson's from start to finish. Had a costly penalty that had many within the organization confused.

4. Cole Beasley – He's not putting up jaw-dropping stats but when the Cowboys needed some plays late in the game, Beasley was available. He's probably the only consistent go-to receiver the Cowboys have right now.

3. Leighton Vander Esch – We saw why the Cowboys drafted him in the first round. Not only did they need some depth at the LB position, but Vander Esch has instincts that can track the ball. The rookie was credited for 11 tackles.

2. Sean Lee – Also with 11 tackles, Lee could've had close to 20 had he not left with a hamstring injury. That's what happens when you get six tackles on the first drive of the game.

1. Byron Jones – The Seahawks wanted to test him often and time after time, Jones came up with a pass deflection or was in the right position to prevent a pass. He didn't like a player who moved from safety, but more like a veteran of the position.

Honorable Mention:
Geoff Swaim – Had a career-high five catches to lead the team in receptions for the first time.
Anthony Brown – Made a couple of nice tackles on special teams while covering punts.
Antwaun Woods -Â Held up well in the middle of the line, pushing back the pile several times.
Jaylon Smith – Picked up another sack, but would've been higher if he hadn't missed one earlier.
